Most providers need to see the tree to give a firm number. A phone chat alone usually gives only a rough idea.

Be ready to point out gates, power lines, pets and the spot where a truck can park. Those details help a provider plan the visit and give a more accurate quote.

What to Ask a Provider

Keep a short list handy. Good questions include:
